Farmers selling fresh local fruits, veggies, nuts, cut flowers;
Downtown restaurants cooking on the street, selling
Barbecue dinners, pizzas, calzones, shish kebabs, you name it.
Family-friendly free entertainment - bands and puppeteers.

Bring:
An appetite, money for dinner, dessert, flowers, fruit, veggies and shopping.

A family-friendly motel with newly updated rooms and interiors, on the south side of town. Reasonable rates throughout the year ($36-$69), clean quiet rooms and a 5-minute drive to downtown.

Where to Park:
Try the two downtown parking garages (Marsh and Chorro streets, entrance on Marsh, and Palm and Chorro Streets, entrance on Palm). Or park on Higuera Street or Marsh Street in the blocks just south of Nipomo. Hint: county and city government lots, bank lots and business lots are OK to park in after 6 p.m. on Farmers’ Market night, but don’t try it during the day unless you want your car towed.
